Carlos Medina Jr. is a trailblazer in both his immediate and extended family, breaking barriers and achieving milestones that once seemed unattainable. As the first in his family to pursue higher education, Carlos set the foundation for a life of accomplishment and inspiration. At just 21, he became a homeowner and went on to establish multiple businesses and invest in real estate, accumulating 36 years of experience as a small business owner.
His career spans over 38 years in the movie industry, where he has contributed to countless productions behind the scenes, earning respect for his dedication and expertise. Simultaneously, Carlos has proudly served as a Chicago firefighter for over 25 years , exemplifying courage and commitment to his community.
Carlos holds multiple professional licenses, reflecting his diverse skills and relentless drive. He is also the first in his family to adopt a child, expanding his legacy of love and compassion. Now, as an author, Carlos shares his story with the world through his debut novel, Across the Lawn.
Carlos remains actively engaged in both the Chicago Fire Department and the motion picture business, balancing his demanding career with his devotion to his immediate and extended family. He cherishes time spent with his wife, children, grandchildren, and the many loved ones who have supported and inspired his remarkable journey.
